Special Education

The Special Education team, including Resource and School-Based (SB), serves students who qualify for services through the Individualized Education Program (IEP). Eligible students receiving special education services through the Resource Department have a variety of needs with different educational labels and disabilities.

 

Special Education student programming follows the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA), a law that makes available a free appropriate public education to eligible children with disabilities. Student programming is developed through the IEP Team and individualized for specific students.
